Oh wow, I’d love to try a spa day!
My favourite way to relax is just to simply play with my hamster Dougal. He’s only small, but he’s all soft and warm and when he’s sitting in my hand grooming all his long fur, nothing else matters.

I’m also Miss V on GFC, where I’m following you.

    Happy Birthday, Cherie City!
What an amazing prize, I hope I’ll win 🙂
My favourite way of relaxing is taking a long hot bath, but of course a spa break would be better!

My favourite way to relax is to snuggle up in a comfy chair and get lost in a great book. Perhaps in front of an open fire…..heaven!!

Fingers crossed this makes the cut x

Comfy trousers, weekend papers spread across the bed, an easy to watch film on in the background, laptop on with the twitter feed rolling in, ice-cream, hot earl grey tea, biscuits and if I’m lucky a lovely man to wait on me too! What better way to relax!

posted this on the other comp by mistake …woooops….my favourite way to relax is to settle down and watch a West End Show. For those few hours I am transported into another world …I forget all my worries – its worth every penny !!

My favourite way to relax is to meditate – everything gets turned off i go to my quiet space light my candles and sit on my big cushions and just clear my mind.
I find even just 10 mins makes me feel relaxed but also more ready to face the stresses put in front of me.

Forgot: favourite day to relax? Lie down in the grass and look at a vivrant blue sky. Easy, cheap, keeps me smiling for hours. Even better if a macaron is at hand… ( and as Pierre Herme is so close to Hyde Park…)

I’ve followed you for a while on Google Friend Connect and on twitter, and love your informative and stylish blog posts. I too am a blogger and a frantic London girl so relaxing time is rare and precious. My granny’s house is the South of France is the perfect place to unwind and be calm and I look forward to my summer trip there all year! In London my favourite way to relax is to have a night in, make Mexican food and mojito cocktails!

My favourite way to unwind & relax from the hectic chaos of daily life is by retreating to the relative sanctuary of the bathroom, sipping a glass of chilled wine while enjoying an indulgent bubble bath in the glow of scented candles with soft music playing in the background. Pure bliss….

    Gorgeous prize, yes please!
My favourite way to relax, is to get out in the fresh air with my hound, walkng, enjoying the weather whether it be raining, snow, crisp autumal or spring morns! Fresh greenery and my best friend in tow always seem to invirgourate the soul and leave me relaxed. If Ive still energy then biking on the common with hound, getting those endomorphins running always leaves me in a quite state of relaxation and bliss!

  • Reply Caroline Ellis July 28, 2011 at 7:25 pm

My relaxation bliss = Being warm, comfortable, quiet and no outside interruptions. Fed, watered and nowhere to go for at least four hours.
Spa treatments are a once a year indulgence after military-like planning.
It is hard to relax when you work full time, have a three year old, a dog, a fella and a house to keep you busy.

Grayshott spa is my ultimate indulgence

  • Reply Jacqui Kerr July 28, 2011 at 7:45 pm

best way to relax is to put ipod earphones on and play things like Paul McKenna Trance or other lovely meditations. Once when i stayed at Grayshott I was walking through the grounds with ipod on listening to law of atttaction recording and i remember a feeling of total peace and joy that i don’t think i have quite felt since!! jx

  • Reply Claire July 29, 2011 at 4:42 pm

Oooh, fab prize. Would love to win this.

Ideal way to relax would be in a hammock on a white sand beach, with a good book. Back in the real world, a glass of vino and a cuddle with my kittens does the trick. I’ve ‘liked’ you again on facebook and follow on twitter. Is that enough? c

I find nothing more relaxing than drinking a glass of wine…or two, with a small group of friends whilst watching the sunset on a beach. I found that this was the best way to relax and unwind between exams whilst I was studying at Bournemouth Uni!

  • Reply Antoine Bunel July 30, 2011 at 10:41 pm

Might sound funny, but my favourite way to relax is to start cooking…!! I find that when I cook, I switch from my rational mind which overthinks about stuff, to my instinctive being, which is creative and fun!
And it’s a nice way to relax because I end up eating nice homecooked food 🙂
    Happy Birthday!! :)) x
