Courvoisier’s Punch Parlour at London Cocktail Week

October 7, 2010 by

Courvoisier is bringing more than a bit of punch to London Cocktail Week with two stylish free events – the Punch Parlour and New Orleans Speakeasy.

Fine cognac brand Courvoisier has enlisted innovative Oxford cocktail bar, Raoul’s to become residents in London to host the special events.

At the Punch Parlour on Monday 11th October, guests can sample traditional punch and some more experimental interpretations of the classic party drink. Raoul’s will present a selection of punch from throughout the ages, served in tea cups in the Victorian Boudoir.

If the Punch Parlour leaves you craving another glass full of delicious punch, the New Orleans Speakeasy event takes place the very next day.

Courvoisier recreates Southern hospitality and pays homage to the spirit of New Orleans with a Speakeasy event, featuring a live performance from The Sunshine Kings New Orleans Jazz Group and old-time American cocktail classics such as Sazeracs and Juleps.

As a special treat to Cherie City readers, Courvoisier are kindly offering one free drink at each event when readers mention Cherie City on the door.  Yes, I really am (on this occasion) encouraging readers to use my blog name to score free drinks!

On mentioning Cherie City, Courvoisier will give you a voucher which you can exchange at the bar for a complimentary cocktail of your choice.

Here is the list of featured cocktails on each day, so you can get your order in quick:
