Easter is almost here and it’s fair to say that this year’s eggs are more elaborate than ever – from avocado-shaped chocolate eggs to sculptural designer collaborations. However the best Easter treat of all, in my opinion, is the Biscuiteers Easter egg biscuit tin.
I’m a huge fan of Biscuiteers and am always wowed by their seasonal creations, but this tin of biscuits inspired by elegant Fabergé eggs is out of this world.
The beautifully-illustrated tin features nine intricate, hand-decorated iced chocolate biscuits in a colour scheme of regal duck egg blue, vermillion red and deep gold. Each one is an edible objet d’art and has a unique pattern, typical of the imperial eggs commissioned by Russian Emperors in the late 19th century.
Not only are they ever so pretty, but they are really delicious and much easier to share over a pot of tea than chipping away at a chocolate Easter egg. In fact, I think this could just be my favourite Biscuiteers collection yet!
Have you tried Biscuiteers exquisite iced biscuits? Would you swap your regular Easter egg for Biscuiteers?
The Biscuiteers Easter egg biscuit tin is available to buy in the London store and online.
