The sparkling fruity floral fragrance is uplifting, girly and glam – exactly what you’d expect from the LA-born, casual luxury brand. With a touch of punk rock and lashings of gold, it’s the kind of perfume that stands out in a crowd.
Juicy muse Sasha Pivovarova returns as the face of the fragrance range, which also includes Viva La Juicy and Viva La Juicy Noir.
It is without a doubt the most extravagant perfume bottle on my vanity table, with a shiny melted gold bottle, hot pink ‘couture’ nameplate, crystal-style stopper and an organza Swiss dot bow.
Created by master perfumer Honorine Blanc of Firmenich, the long-lasting eau de parfum bursts with luscious fruitiness and develops a heady, warm sweetness.
It opens with juicy wild berries and leads to a heart of sweet honeysuckle and jasmine sambac. The base notes give it a sticky confectionery aroma with golden amber, melted caramel, vanilla elixir and sandalwood. While some fruity florals with this level of sweetness can smell synthetic or sickly, Viva La Juicy Gold Couture has a lavish, opulent scent that lasts all day.
