Leading on from last season’s ‘Tribal Clish-Clash’ collection, ‘Two Planets’ explores the duality of feminine and masculine, venus and earth. The unisex collection is edgy but luxurious and features contrasting textural materials such as pyrite, lava rock, black agate teeth and hematine.
The stones are combined with Maria’s signature braided hosiery lengths in nude or black and some pieces include flashes of detachable neon synthetic hair.
Maria Lau’s collections are always so versatile – you can tell part of the story with a delicate bracelet or make a bold statement with a multi-strand necklace adorned with the full works. The long necklaces can be casually slipped over the head and are perfect for introducing men to the label.
The three-piece Luna collection is a more ornate, mystical look and features a stunning necklace, bracelet and earrings – all made using metal components and chain around a cluster of pyrite.
