Rupert Sanderson opens the upstairs of his Mayfair shoe emporium to House of Voltaire – a pop up shop in support of Studio Voltaire, one of London’s most prominent independent art spaces.
The temporary store will be stocked with specially commissioned products, limited editions and original pieces from a number of renowned designers and artists, including an exclusive collboration between designer Richard Nicoll and artist Linder.
Also on sale will be new editions by Jeremy Daller and David Noonan, t-shirts by Mark Leckey and Clunie Reid and unique works by Yinka Shonibare and Alan Michael.
There is an impressive rosta of artists participating in the project and whose works will be on sale, including Tracey Emin, Mat Collishaw, Ryan Gander, Wolfgang Tillmans, Mark Titchner, Dawn Mellor, Cerith Wyn Evans and many more…
During the temporary residency, art luminaries such as Julie Verhoeven and Nicky Verber will staff the shop and host special in store events.
House of Voltaire has a democratic sale policy with pieces ranging from an affordable £10 to real investments at £10,000.
It’s the perfect place to pick up some unique, personal Christmas gifts and have the chance to meet some of your favourite artists and designers.
