Chérie City began when I realised how much I wanted to share all the amazing things that I found in London and on my travels – places that I loved and could personally recommend.

Since then, it has evolved to include coverage of London Fashion Week, art fairs and exhibitions, fashion and beauty launches and product reviews and profiles of designers and general interesting people.

PRODUCTS AND REVIEWS:

I am sometimes offered products and experiences from PR companies for review.  Everything I receive is noted in the post and is written about with the same objectivity and expectations as a straight-forward consumer.  If there’s a flaw, or it’s disappointing, I’ll say so.  However, I don’t believe in completely trashing a product just because it doesn’t work for me, as everyone has a different opinion.

ADVERTS AND MARKETING:

Adverts, affiliate marketing and paid content will only be accepted for brands that have integrity and that I personally like. Particularly with paid content, it’s misleading and very obvious when bloggers don’t acknowledge that they’re writing advertorial. Mags and websites do, so why would you not expect this from a blog?

So that’s all, really.  Transparency is really important to me as a blogger, so I hope you’ll be able to trust my opinion and will understand the motivation behind any review, good or bad.  If you want to know more, feel free to quiz me about it.
