Superdry Beauty – The Debut Make-Up Collection

March 7, 2013 by

British clothing brand Superdry launched its first beauty collection last month and it is definitely one to watch.  The colours are vibrant and trend-led and just like the clothing, the products are inspired by Japan.

The well-edited collection includes velvety lip paints, highly-pigmented eye colours, pastel powder blushes, sheer colour lip glazes and bold nail colours with a cute retro design.  Superdry also offers eye-catching, light-weight make-up bags, the most adorable neon pink kabuki brush and nail care accessories.  I’m a fan of the cheap and cheerful buff and shine block (£3) – it’s easy to use and keeps nails super shiny and smooth for a long time.

Superdry also wins points for the coolest packaging with neon rubber detailing, layered cardboard boxes that resemble ice cream wafers and stackable eyeshadows with built-in magnets.  The neon mirrors are so bright you couldn’t possibly lose them in your handbag and the protective silicone covers make them perfect for travelling.

Prices are affordable and range from £2 to £20, so adding a pop of colour isn’t a huge investment.  Products are available now in all UK Superdry stores and online.

I would just like to know if the products are tested on animals or not?

Hi Harriet, thanks for your message. The Superdry beauty line is discontinued unfortunately. You can still get the make-up bags and pouches, but the products are no longer available.
