A Penhaligon’s Peoneve Perfume Terrace

July 19, 2012 by

This week, the Penhaligon’s Peoneve Multi-Sensory Terrace opens on the fifth floor at Harvey Nichols.  The stunning terrace brings a quintessential English Garden to the Knightsbridge department store with pretty cocktails and desserts inspired by the notes of the fragrance.

The terrace is a romantic, whimsical hideaway with traditional garden furniture and a trellis pergola covered in vibrant over-sized peonies and laser-cut insects.  It feels like the ideal place to wear a floaty summer tea dress and catch up on girly gossip over fragrant drinks.

The innovative cocktail menu includes delicate, floral-inspired cocktails such as Penhaligon’s Peoneve Punch, Violet Breeze, Rose Garden and Wild Flower Fizz.

Of course, Head Chef Jonas Karlsson’s desserts are not to be missed!  Try a White Chocolate and Peony Mousse, Jazzy Jam Bakewell Tart, Gooseberry Fool or delectable Summer Garden Macaroons.  However, you could go for a cocktail-dessert combo with Boozy Pops – The Posy, The Rhuberry or The Brambleflower.

Created by Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp, Peoneve is a fresh, sparkling, modern rose fragrance with a touch of green.  Notes include Violet Leaf, Peony, Bulgarian Rose, Hedione, Vetiver, Musk and Cashmere Wood.

Peoneve is available now exclusively at Harvey Nichols (in 50ml and 100ml EDP) and in Penhaligon’s boutiques, concessions and online from 13 August.

The Penhaligon’s Peoneve Terrace is open now until the end of August.  For more info, visit: www.penhaligons.com and www.harveynichols.com
