There is nothing like the beauty of someone with a light heart and laughing eyes – real beauty is a reflection of our inner spirit. So smile and laugh at life as much as you can – it not only makes you a joy to be around, it also radiates your true beauty to the world.

My personal beauty philosophy is to be yourself and feel confident in your own beliefs. I constantly followed trends at school whether it be my friends, sister or TV stars who had a particular look, I would try it out. They never suited me and I went through most of my teens being a bit geeky with no particular style. When I left school and started work I blossomed into someone who could make my own decisions and knew what suited me. I am now confident in my own skin and choose outfits that suit me whether or not they are ‘on-trend.’ And although I now have a few grey hairs and am not quite as skinny as I used to be, I feel more confident at 33 then I ever have.

  • Reply Eliza Wilder June 22, 2012 at 11:34 pm

My philosophy is to have my own personal style, (however individual and quirky that is), always protect my skin from the sun, and accept myself as I am.
